Sinusoidal additive A/S model

where tex2html_wrap_inline882tex2html_wrap_inline884 and tex2html_wrap_inline886 are the amplitude, frequency and initial phase of the tex2html_wrap_inline888 frequency component of the signal. Usually tex2html_wrap_inline882 and tex2html_wrap_inline884 are supposed to be low-pass signals and are therefore considered constant during a short analysis frame.

At the synthesis stage, these parameters are interpolated between adjacent frames in order to avoid signal discontinuities.

Parameter variations can also be included and evaluated in the analysis stage.
