BGU will develop new statistical analysis techniques for sound description (in particular dynamic evolutions) and classification (mapping of low- and high-level descriptors).

UPF will pursue the following targets:

Refining and adapting segmentation and pitch detection algorithms to spectral modeling techniques and to the specificities of content description  designing and evaluating new descriptors, extraction techniques and content classification algorithms for monophonic musical recordings
