This chapter describes UDI from the point of view of the C application
programmer.
It is assumed that you are using UDI on a Unix system and that the
system manager has installed the include files in
/usr/local/include/udi-2.0"
and the library files in /usr/local/lib". If this is not the case, you
will need to make the appropriate file name substitutions for your
system setup.
