5.2 Frame

Frames are the various parts into which a window
can be subdivided (split) into, arbitrarily in the
 horizontal
 and
 vertical,
directions. This allows, for instance, several signals and analysis to be displayed and thus compared in the different Frame of a window, horizontally and/or vertically.
This is done by using the items "Split frame horizontally" or
"Split frame vertically" in the "Frames" menu.
In a given window, there is only one active Frame at a given instant. The active Frame is usually
marked by a
 blue border.
