5.8 Context
A context is opened for the active view of the active Frame
by using the corresponding item
in the Context menu.
A context is a structure that contains parameters for
different objects and actions such as
Buffer,
Display,
Analysis,
etc...
Therefore each view has a Display Context, an Analysis Context,
a Buffer Context, etc....
The context
Options
on the contrary is unique and shared by
all the Views, Frames and Windows of the application.
When you open a context it appears as a control panel with number boxes for each parameter to let you see and change parameter values.
Temporarily, many parameter values are represented in the contexts as "numbers" which
represent the number in the corresponding section of the "Analysis choice"
menu. Look at the menu to make the correspondance between a certain choice and the
corresponding number.
