-> conclusions <-
The samples that were put in the "mail in" globally correspond to
the "feedback degree +1" profile when the following criteria are considered
:
* length 0.5 to 1s., monophonic
And they don't correspond to this profile when following the following criterium
:
* melodic profile that is downhill here instead of uphill for the FB+1 profile
The difference concerning the melodic profile can be understood : a mail out is intuitively related to something going out, or upwards - as can be seen for the mail out prototype that sounds like something being thrown in the air, and a mail in is related to something coming to the user, coming downwards.
Concerning our category classification system, it can leads to the following
conclusion :
For the moment, we have only categories, without making any sub-categories.
It would be interesting to make sub categories - in this case, in mail is a
sub category of FB degree +1.
Our sub category "mail in" would have the following profile :
Polyphonic / monophonic | monophonic |
Dynamic profile | |
Melodic profile | |
Length | 0.5 to 1 s. |
