Composition on top of real-time sound synthesis

Abstract:

This paper draws a rough sketch of an environment for composition and synthesis. The environment handles both sound synthesis in real-time and composition in a Scheme environment. The architecture of the application is described and two implementations, one in Java and one in C/C++, are briefly discussed.
