6. Analysis
To
perform an analysis
, use the menu "Analysis".
At the date of December 95, two types of analysis only are connected to Xspect :
- FFT,
- Estimation of
Fundamental Frequency
named F0. Many more will be connected soon, such as LPC, Cepstrum, etc....
FFTs can be done with various signal windows such as Hamming, Hanning, Blackman, etc.... The magnitude of the FFT can be displayed on a linear or on a log scale.
F0 is estimated from a segment of a signal.
