Travel tips

The cheapest way here from London may be to fly Buzz from Stansted to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle (one way 30 to 40 pounds).

Eurostar from Waterloo to Gare du Nord is 70 pounds round trip if you stay Saturday or two nights in Paris and purchase 14 days in advance.

From CDG take the RER train to Gare du Nord or Chatelet les Halles (closest to Ircam). To figure out where things are, try the Paris Metro site (maps and routes). If you want to see a photo of your moth-eaten hotel, try looking it up at Pages Jaunes.

Address: Ircam, 1 place Igor Stravinsky, Paris 75004 (map). Phone: +33 1 44 78 48 43 (entrance) +33 1 44 78 48 46 (alain)
