The KANSEI system (Genova, Italy,
10/97):
Clarinet model details:
- A two-dimensional timbral sub-space was built covering
a 2-octave clarinet range with three different dynamic levels.
- Groups of 9 additive
models, obtained via the analysis of clarinet sounds
from Studio-on-line

- The additive model parameter files corresponded to the
pp,mf andff sets of
the pitches F3, F4 and F5.
- At any given time the system performed three interpolations
among 4 of the 9 models, according to pitch and dynamic values sent by
the mapping configuration.
- Other available
synthesis parameters were: loudness, timescaling, brightness, panning,
frequency shifting and harmonic deviation.
